About SCOT SCOT(Setrac College of Offshore Training) is approved the Directorate General Of Shipping,Ministry of Surface, Transport Govt of India. However the Offshore Safety courses are value addedd courses and are not covered under DG Shipping training curricullam.The institute is certified under ISO 9001:2008 standards for design, developement and conduct of offshore training.
Offshore Skills Tutor (OST) – This is comprehensive interactive computer based training program developed by SETRAC. The training programs include various aspects of offshore seamanship, vessel handling and safety. The topics covered in the tutor include anchor handling, towing, supply operations. Offshore vessel handling, Anti Collision Regulation, Fast Rescue Boat operations etc.
